Shenandoah Association

of the Central Atlantic Conference

of the United Church of Christ

The Shenandoah Association consists of 27 churches. The roots of these churches vary from Congregational/Christian and German/Reform beginnings to a history of only a couple of decades. The Shenandoah Association has a predominate geographical base that coinsides with the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia; however there are a few churches in the Association that are located in West Virginia.The Shenandoah Association is one of five Associations of the Central Atlantic Conference.

While the churches of the Shenandoah Association vary in history and/or backgrounds, they still seem to get along as part of the larger church. And though there are times when there disagreement, the churches seem to agree to disagree. The people of the Shenandoah Association are also a diverse group.
