MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of Centenary is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

The parishioners of Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ embrace this as our mission statement.  Our church is established with love and our doors are open specifically to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Some may ask, “How can we make disciples of Jesus?” By looking at the following cycle of discipleship, one can see that disciples are made in the following ways:

• Faithfulness to the Gospel
• Welcoming persons into the body of Christ;
• Leading individuals to commit their lives to God;
• Nurturing through worship, sacraments, Bible study, prayer;
• Sending people into the world proclaiming the Gospel;
• Continuing to seek and welcome others into the body of Christ.

We believe it is the duty of every Christian-pastors and laity alike-to strive to fulfill this cycle of discipleship.
