The church building at 358 South Main Street was completed in 1931. It was designed in the style of an English Parish Church of the fourteenth century. According to Dr. Garrison's History, "The ideas and ideals (expressed by this style) are very similar to those we would express in our churches today. These churches were centers, not only of religious devotion, but also of the community life of the period in which they were built. They entered most intimately into the life of the people -- became a part of that life, and were looked upon with pride and affection by all classes of the community."
